Curry Powder
Chicken curry, an all-time favourite dish for Malaysians is prepared using main ingredients such as curry powder, chicken meat, onions and coconut milk or fresh milk. The distinctive taste of curry chicken depends solely on its curry powder that contains spices such as chili, coriander, cumin, star anise, cardamon and etc. This sinfully rich and spicy chicken curry is best served hot with rice, paratha, noodles or bread. The fresh, aromatic and complementing spices of Curry Powder will make your curry dish a feast to remember.
Ingredients :-
Chili, Coriander, Cumin, Anis, White Pepper Corns, Black Pepper Corns, Turmeric, Cinnamon, Cloves, Star Anise, Cardamon, Nutmeg Seed.
Preparation :-
1.5kg chicken, chopped
500g potatoes, peeled and chopped
200g onions, 100g garlic, grounded
Salt to taste
5 bowls (rice bowl) of coconut milk (or fresh milk)
5 bowls of warm water
half packet of curry powder
Cooking Instructions :-
Fry the onion, garlic and curry powder in cooking oil until fragrant.
Add in chicken, coconut milk or fresh milk and salt to taste.
Allow medium heat for 20 minutes.
Put in potatoes and heat up for another 15 minutes.
Ready to serve.
