Chili Taucu
Taucu is fermented soy beans in salt. Taucu is an excellent food taste enhancer. Add a teaspoon to any dish for the added taste. It is commonly used in Malay and Chinese food in Malaysia. Lot of recipes use it – noodles, chicken dishes, meat and actually almost anything.
This is one of Shop Malaysia’s favorite recipes that use taucu. It’s easy and fast. Try and let us know what you think. This recipe uses chicken meat but you can replace it with meat of your choice, beef, pork ribs or even fish.
Ingredients : Soya Bean, Wheat Flour, Oil, Chili, Sugar, Salt, Monosodium Glutamate, permitted coloring and preservatives
Chicken Breasts Steamed with Plum and Taucu sauce
Cooking Instruction :
- Chicken breast cut into small pieces.
- Marinate the chicken with salt, sugar and corn flour.
- Add half a cup of Plum sauce.
- Then half a cup of Taucu Chili sauce.
- Lastly add 2 table spoons of soya sauce.
- Mix the ingredients and leave to marinate about half an hour. Place some chopped garlic and steam for about 15 minutes.
