A distinctive Malaysian traditional taste for our very own fruit salad dressing which is known as Sambal Rojak. It is made using prawn paste cooked with chili, belacan and sesame seeds. Rojak paste is popularly used as a Malaysian style salad dressing or dip for a mixture of cut fruits and vegetables, roasted or boiled cuttlefish, which is then served with a generous splash of crushed peanuts!
Cheong Kim Chuan’s Sambal Rojak is made from sugar, sweet sauce, prawn paste, belacan, sesame and chili powder and contains permitted food conditioners and preservatives.
