Spicy Prawn
Ingredients :
600gm medium size prawn shelled
2 tbsp Alagappa’s Chilli Powder
3 stalks lemon grass - crushed
1 bombay onion – sliced thickly
Some tamarind juice
Salt to taste
½ tbsp sugar
6 tbsp of cooking oil
Seasoning A – pound together until fine
4 cloves of garlic
5 shallot
1.5cm piece ginger
1 tbsp mixed Halba Seeds
Method :
- Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the pounded Seasoning A until fragrant. Add the lemon grass and sliced Bombay onion and add Alagappa’s Chilli Powder.
- Put in the sugar, salt and tamarind juice.
- Lastly put in the prawns and cook until the prawns are cooked.
- Serve hot with rice.
