Instant Tom Yam Sauce
Orginated from Thailand, Tom Yam is a popular cuisine to the Malaysians where this dish is cooked with meat or seafood and served with rice or noodles. Its distinctively savoury, sweet and sour taste tantalizes the taste buds, hence making you order for another plate of rice. However, making this tasty dish relies heavily on the preparation of herbs and spices which is time-consuming.
You need not to sweat it out to prepare the ingredients when cooking tom yam with Ikan Brand Instant Tom Yam Sauce. To prepare an appetizing Tom Yam soup, stir fry the instant sauce until fragrant and add water. Add vegetables and meat or seafood and stir over medium heat until boiling. Garnish with peppermint leaves and serve it hot. Ideal to be served as appetizer, it is difficult to resist this mouth watering and aromatic Tom Yam soup.
Ingredients :-
Shallot, Lemongrass, Chili, Asam Sauce, Lemon Juice, Sugar, Salt and Palm Oil.
Cooking Instruction :-
Stir fry Ikan Brand Instant Tom Yam Sauce until fragrant. Add water 700ml (3½ cups), 2 tomatoes, vegetables, chili padi, prawns, squid and chicken (250g), and stir over medium heat till boiling. Add lime juice to taste and garnish with peppermint leaves. Serve 4 to 5 persons.
